Trees

Trees:  Last year, one of our resident tree enthusiasts circulated a plea to save a 200 year old tree in our subdivision. It appeared 50% of you agreed with him for many reasons, however, another 50% sided with the homeowner. While a few cities require permits to cut down trees, it appears that subdivision residents don't believe we want this constraint in our neighborhood. However, keep in mind that if you have to remove a tree, please plant another one (or two).

The City makes this easy for us - you can choose from seven different varieties, and they plant them in the Spring in front of your home for a small charge of $100 (even though they cost the City twice as much). Call 943-2318 and order yours now!
