Our
Board of Directors are working hard behind the scene to gain an
historical sign for our prestigious subdivision. Historical
signs are complex and are very difficult to procure. Because
our subdivision is 50 years old, is a pacesetter for the City of
Dearborn and one of the most appealing and attractive subdivisions
to live in, the Board may need your help in the future.
The
design of Frank Lloyd Wright was incorporated into our
subdivision. Your home, so maliciously developed in a
compatible nature, is one of the many reasons the Country Club
Estates subdivision is one of the most desirable in Dearborn to live
in. Both our homes and lots were plotted and designed by our
forefathers to attract serious, concerned and compatible homeowners
to this area. It is the intention of our Board of Directors to
maintain this harmonious atmosphere. To destroy our
beautiful home harmony, all it takes is one or more homes being
built or modified in an unconventional or un-compatible
manner. Non-conformity based on uncaring or unconcerned new
homeowners, will enviably create animosity within our
subdivision. With the direction and guidance of the GCCCA
Board of Directors or our new GCCCA Plan Review Committee our
subdivision will remain harmonious and compatible.
The
GCCCA Plan Review Committee has been designed to help with new
construction and modification of existing homes. The Plan
Review Committee is a composition of extremely knowledgeable
members. This committee exists to offer expertise on home
design. They are knowledgeable and exist to maintain our Frank
Lloyd Wright philosophy.
Various
pictures of historical signs will be available for your view.
